We accept submissions between 10 May and 22 September 2023.
The results will be accounced no later than on 22 November 2023.

Participants are required to be customers of the Organiser or of the affiliated entities:

  • “BASF COATINGS SERVICES” sp. z o.o. z siedzibą w Warszawie,
  • “NUNHEMS POLAND” sp. z o.o. z siedzibą w Warszawie,
  • „CHEMETALL POLSKA” sp. z o.o. headquartered in Warsaw,

by "customer", we mean an entity that has purchased (within the past 12 months) products or services from the Organiser or the entities listed above.

Yes.

A participant (a company) can join the Programme in any number of categories, provided that it fits the criteria outlined in § 2 of the regulations. (link)

Each participant can only apply with one project per category.

The forms for each category are designed to enable saving an incomplete submission in order to return to it later. You can save your progress and continue at a later date. However, you will not be able to edit a complete form after submitting it.

If you've already submitted your form, then the only way to change your application is to submit a new, updated form (re-apply). Make sure your updated form is submitted before the deadline. If you need to update your form this way, please contact: mailto:agnieszka.lyczak@basf.com

All correctly submitted forms will be assessed by the Jury in two phases:

  • a formal assessment stage where the Organiser verifies that the submission fits the criteria outlined in §2-3 of the regulations.
  • a substantive assessment by the Jury.

SCOPE 1: Direct emissions

Emissions created as a result of burning fuels (on-site and in transport) whenever this is connected to assets owned by the company or directly controlled by it.This also includes emissions resulting from technological processes and from evaporating coolants. 

SCOPE 2: Indirect emissions - owned

These are indirect emissions  which result from the use of imported (purchased or delivered externally) energy (electricity, heat, steam, cooling).

SCOPE 3: Indirect emissions - not owned (suppliers)

These are other indirect emissions generated throughout the value chain, e.g. through the production of raw materials or semi-finished products, waste management, transport of raw materials and products, business trips of employees or use of products by end users.

The jury will assess all correctly submitted contest entries and select three winners in each of the categories.

All participants will receive an invitation to a gala.

PRIZES:

1st place

An educational trip to BASF headquarters in Ludwigshafen for 2 company representatives. This includes the opportunity for workshops on how to use BASF solutions to develop the winners' products and services.

2nd place

A meeting with an expert on sustainable growth / closed-loop systems.

3rd place

A workshop on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

All participants will be given a chance to participate in a workshop on a measuring tool for assessing carbon footprint (SCOTT).
